In this class, you’ll expand your knowledge of vocabulary, grammar and Deaf Culture. Our ASL III courses are taught by a native Deaf ASL signer who has extensive experience working in the outdoor fields, and will be able to adjust teaching styles and topics to fit the needs of the students. By the end of this course, students will be able to confidently have a conversation about outdoor topics or emergency situations like wilderness medicine, have a deeper understanding of Deaf culture and etiquette tailored to outdoor settings, and so much more.
CorpsTHAT’s ASL courses use Zoom to meet virtually twice a week and use google classrooms for submitting assignments outside of class time.
