Workshops taught in ASL by Deaf instructors without interpretation.

Have you ever wanted to deepen your understanding of low-impact camping, hiking, or how to enjoy the outdoors responsibly? This introductory Leave No Trace (LNT) workshop is designed to provide participants with a foundational knowledge of the seven principles of Leave No Trace and how these skills and ethics can help protect the natural places we love.

Led by Deaf LNT level 2 instructors and conducted entirely in American Sign Language (ASL), this workshop will explore the real-world impact of recreation-related activities and offer practical strategies for minimizing that impact. Upon successful completion, participants will receive a Leave No Trace Awareness Certificate co-issued by CorpsTHAT and the Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics.
