Crew Leader Positions

CorpsTHAT partners with other conservation corps and organizations throughout the country.  Below are our current partnerships and open Crew Leader positions.  In our application you will be able to mark which programs you would like to be considered for.  If you are interested in a position with one of our partner crews, after interviewing with the CorpsTHAT team there may be additional interviews and applications that you will need to complete directly with our partner organization before being officially offered a position. CorpsTHAT Crew- CTC

Job Description

Crew Leader Program Dates: June 9 – August 3, 2025

Age Range: 21+

Compensation: $700-$800 (dependent on experience)

Starts and Ends in: Baltimore, MD

CorpsTHAT is running our young adult conservation corps crew for our fourth season. We are looking to hire Deaf, Hard of Hearing, DeafBlind, DeafDisabled or late deafened crew leaders to work together as a team to lead, guide and work with 6 Deaf, Hard of Hearing, DeafBlind, DeafDisabled or late deafened crew young adults completing conservation projects along the east coast. During the program transportation, housing and meals will be provided.

PAOC American Sign Language Inclusion Crew- PAOC ASLi

Job Description

Crew Member Program Dates: 

Session 1: June 30 to July 17, 2025
Session 2: July 21 to August 8, 2025

Age Range: 15 – 18+ years old or current or recently graduated high school student 

Requirements: Resident of Pennsylvania

Compensation: $15/hour

Starts and ends at: Western Pennsylvania School for the Deaf, Pittsburgh, PA

 

CorpsTHAT is partnering with the Pennsylvania Outdoor Corps to recruit members and leaders for their American Sign Language Inclusion Crew. The ASLi Crew is for current or recent high school students who are residents of Pennsylvania and are Deaf, Hard of Hearing, DeafBlind, DeafDisabled or late deafened. Crew Members will work together as a team to complete conservation projects and participate in environmental educational and job training activities with the Student Conservation Association and the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources. During the program transportation, housing and meals will be provided.
